Terms and conditions of use

1. Who we are

The platform is operated by KILOMETRO INICIAL (RFC KIN2110206Y7), owner of the Kinel brand, located at Avenida Xicoténcatl 668 (no interior number), colonia Ricardo Flores Magón, between calle Manuel Doblado and callejón Sporting, ZIP 91900, Veracruz, Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave, Mexico. 2. What the platform offers

The platform lets you register for sporting events, pay for your registration, buy official merchandise and look up your orders. Each event sets its dates, categories, capacity, prices and rules.

3. Your account

• You can register as a guest or with an account. You must be of legal age to create an account.
• The information you provide must be true and up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what is done with your account.

4. Registrations

• Each registration is subject to available capacity and to the price window in effect when you register.
• Your registration is confirmed once payment clears. An unpaid order expires after the stated period and the spot goes back on sale.
• Registration closes on the date and time each event publishes.
• The platform assigns the bib number. Registrations are personal and cannot be transferred to someone else unless the organizer allows it.

5. Prices, service fee and payments

• Prices are in Mexican pesos (MXN).
• In addition to the category price, Kinel charges a service fee for use of the platform. It is shown itemized before you pay.
• Payments are processed by Stripe by card, OXXO or SPEI transfer. If you choose to save a card, it is stored with Stripe and you can remove it at any time.

6. Promo and bib codes

• Codes have a validity period and a usage limit, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• A registration code discounts the category price and the service fee. Bib codes apply to the category and bib they indicate.

7. Cancellations and refunds

• Registrations and purchases are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organizer.
• If the event is cancelled, the price paid for the registration and products is refunded. The service fee is non-refundable.

8. Products

Products are handed over at the event, during kit pickup hours, on presenting your bib or confirmation number. There is no home delivery.

9. Your responsibility as a participant

• You take part voluntarily and acknowledge the risks inherent to the sport.
• You state you are physically and medically fit for the category you chose, and that the medical information you provide is true.
• You agree to follow the event rules and the organizers' instructions.

10. Limits of our liability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the platform available and working correctly, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted. We are not liable for failures of third parties, such as banks or payment providers, or for force majeure.

11. Acceptable use and intellectual property

You must not use the platform for unlawful purposes, try to access other people's information or disrupt its operation. The platform's trademarks, logos, texts and images belong to Kinel or their owners and may not be used without permission.

12. Personal data

The processing of your data is governed by our privacy notice, which is part of these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Changes are published on this page with their date and apply to later registrations and purchases.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute the parties submit to the competent courts of Veracruz, Veracruz, without prejudice to your rights under the Federal Consumer Protection Law before Profeco.
